Privacy policy
Effective September 15, 2026.
Harkly is made by Rad Soft, Inc. This policy covers what we collect when you use harkly.app, the dashboard, the portals we host for our customers, and the SDKs. It is written to be read.
Two kinds of people
Our customers' customers. If you sent feedback, opened a support thread or answered a survey on a company's portal or in their app, that company is the controller of your data and Harkly processes it on their behalf under our Data Processing Addendum. Ask them about their practices; they can export or delete your data from their dashboard, and you can do both yourself from the portal's Your data section.

What we collect
- Account: your email, name, and the sign-in codes we email you. There are no passwords.
- Workspace content: what you and your team put in — boards, posts, articles, conversations, settings — and what your customers send.
- Usage: which dashboard screens are used and how, through PostHog, so we know what to fix. No end-user content is sent there.
- Technical: IP address, browser, and request logs kept for security and rate limiting, retained for 30 days.
- Billing: handled by Stripe; we store the customer and subscription ids, never card numbers.
What we do with it
Run the service, bill you, answer your support requests, send the emails the product sends (notifications, digests, reports, usage alerts — every one has an unsubscribe or a setting), and keep the platform safe. We do not sell data, and we do not use your workspace content to train models.
AI
When a workspace turns AI on, the content that feature needs (a question and the matching articles, a conversation to summarize) is sent to Anthropic's API, which does not train on it, with emails, phone numbers and any attribute you flag scrubbed first. Bring your own key and it goes to your own account instead. Indexing for search runs on our own infrastructure.

Your rights
Export or delete your account from the dashboard, or email privacy@harkly.app. Under the GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA you may access, correct, port, restrict or erase your data and object to processing; we answer within 30 days.
Cookies
The dashboard sets a session cookie. Portals set one only after a person signs in or after the app opts into anonymous ids. There are no ad or tracking cookies anywhere.
Changes
We post changes here with a new effective date and email workspace owners about anything material.
